There’s a kind of photo most women never let themselves take. Not because they don’t want it, but because they don’t think they’re “the type.” Then they see the photos afterward and can’t believe that’s them. That’s exactly the moment I work for. Because a boudoir session isn’t about being a model. It’s about finally seeing yourself the way other people already see you. How boudoir photography Playa del Carmen sessions work
You choose where. I have a private studio here in Playa del Carmen for boudoir photography. Inside, you’ll find a few different setups: a cozy sofa, a bed for softer shots, and a window with beautiful natural light. There’s also a large mirror, perfect for some of my favorite shots. The light is soft and flattering, set up the right way for this kind of session. It’s a comfortable space, and the door stays closed, just us. If you’d rather stay somewhere more familiar, I also shoot on location, at your home, hotel room or Airbnb.
Wardrobe and jewelry: bring your own, or use mine
You’re welcome to bring your own lingerie, robe or outfit if you already have something you love. But you don’t have to. I keep a full wardrobe of lingerie, with adjustable sizes, plus jewelry to finish each look. That way we can go through two or three different styles in one session, without you packing a single bag. Maybe you have a piece that means something: a necklace from your grandmother, a set your partner picked out. Bring it too, and we’ll build a look around it.
You don’t need to feel 100% ready either
Maybe part of you is waiting to feel ready first: lose a few kilos, tone up, find “the right moment.” I’ll be honest with you: that moment rarely shows up on its own. My job that day isn’t to turn you into someone else. It’s to point the camera at the person already standing in front of me. Then let her see what everyone else already sees.
Your privacy comes first
You get your edited photos back in a couple of days, in a private gallery only you can open. No one else ever sees them unless you decide to share them.
Your privacy matters to me as much as the photos themselves, and every session is completely confidential. If it puts your mind at ease, I’m happy to sign a privacy agreement with you before we start. That way, you know exactly how your images are handled, and that they stay between us. It’s part of what I offer, not an afterthought.
