The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba certification program. You don’t need previous experience, it’s for beginners, you’ll have the knowledge and skills needed to dive safely and confidently to depths of up to 18 meters (60 feet). The course usually takes 2–4 days to complete, but you can finish the theory part at your own pace before arriving at your dive destination.

Theory
Are you ready to learn about Scuba equipment, underwater pressure, and about planning your dive safetly? With the PDF theory you’ll read 5 chapters, about many scuba topics and you’ll take quizzes along the way, to be ready to the final exam.
Swimming pool lessons
After the theory we’ll go in the swimming pool to learn how to use the equipment, and how to act in different situations, like mask clearing, regulator recovery, emergency procedures. You’ll practise buoyancy control and swim around repeating some excercises.
Ocean dives
When you finish all the swimmingpool skills you will be ready to dive in the Ocean! You’ll complete four open water dives under instructor supervision, usually over two days. These dives give you the chance to apply your skills in the ocean to complete the PADI Open Water course. We’ll dive between 12 and 18 meters.
Prerequisites
Minimum age: 10 years old
Be confortable in the water, basic swimming skills
Good health (you’ll need to complete a medical questionnaire)
